This entire process begins with the first booking obtained on a new or "clean" carrier. A clean carrier is one in which no shipments are eligible for scoring. The first booking then becomes a priority shipment. TMM's priority shipment program works like this:

Identify the new or clean carrier in need of a priority shipment
Work with the agent and local installation to generate a first time booking as soon as the rate becomes effective
Place the new shipment into our priority shipment tracking program
Notify origin agent of the importance of the shipment and encourage placement of best crews on the job
Contact shipper and establish point of contact with the carrier to be used throughout the move
Prior to load date, ensure the shipment has secured a qualified driver
Notify the driver and his dispatch of the importance of the shipment
Notify the destination agent of the shipments importance and that a clean 1840 is imperative
Pay the Origin Agent Bonus
